Won't 360 lose a bit of it's shine now that the 360's are in decline ?

Nice plate regardless.....360 degree vision and all that. Before you laugh, that's how some folks think when it comes to numbers......and will pay accordingly.

A client bought 9-2-5 as in "working" for a similar reason. Now on a 997 Turbo.

There are always a couple available privately; but in my experience they tend to be priced highly on the "if it sells, it sells" basis.
I predict the 2 digit plates in the auction will sell at the higher end of the estimate range.

I agree. I too have been an enthusiastic heritage plate follower since I coveted the low three digit plate on a family friend's Jaguar as a kid. I now have that plate. The elderley daughter-in-law of the original 1910 issuee has ridden in my car recently, much to her delight.

As for the low three digit and two digits. My view is that their value has little to do with car models or numbers. It comes under the heading of ; "If I have to explain, you will not understand.."

At auctions, it is obvious to me that people come with specific plates in mind, and when they want them, the price is not too important. The investment value is not the prime driver.

Not 100% sure but 458 sold for $75k and one 2 digit plate for 220k

I have heard that 83 did not make reserve @ $220k.........will be very interesting to see the final results of all plates :scratchchin:

Yes, it would have peaked years ago; but it's still worth quite a bit more than it cost me.

From memory, circa $220k and $75k give or take. It wasn't a good day for plate sales, the prices were pretty poor to say the least.
