Nope. Not enough time on my hands.

Is this a new website or redesign of an old one?http://www.numberplates.com.au/index.php
No, this web site has been running for many years. It has had a little freshen up though.

I went to the auction but left before the interesting plates went up. They took way too long on every plate. Auctions are supposed to be conducted quickly.

It did go ridiculously long.. the auctioneer kept pushing plates which no one had interest in and almost pleaded for any type of bidding, accepting bids at any price, example $2500 for 5 numbers and then to only say it's below reserve. Add to that the personal conversations he was having with this friends in the crowd. A bit of personality is fine, but taking 30 minutes to auction the first 6 plates is ridiculous.

sounds like a house auction.
The general public is a terrible barometer of taste. Trust your own sensibilities.

Is Bernard Booth still the auctioneer?

Still no results on Stewarts web site.....he adds the public auction results to his web site on the day of the auctions.

The results must not of been good at all, which is very disappointing :(

I'm assuming that some plates are still being negotiated. Hence no results yet.

I was there... not a big success. Half of the plates did not sell and none of the big items. Plates sold for slightly more at the auction a few weeks ago. SA 25 got no bids with a minimum bid of $180k. SA 99 had no bids also at starting of around $150k? The other SA 7something only had 1 online bid at 90k which was under reserve.

Did the Grand Prix Plates  sell?

I acquired that site earlier this year.  It's quite old and needs a lot of work, but we'll get there.

I also have a heritage/historic plate spotting page on FB if anyone's interested:

Cheers
Shane. :)
