usually, rule of thumb, they are 15% to 20% less than NSW plates of the same number/series

Nice plate, I'd imagine the right timing for the right buyer (like a 50th birthday or something), could bring big numbers for that plate..

I'd guess at $250k

Mate of mine bought 3 plates at the auction last night, he already has 3 low 3 number plates worth around $450k he reckons they're a great investment. Paid about $6k each in the 80's

Wish I'd gone to the auction now, apparemtly about 150 registered people didnt turn up.
