gmail now seems to be the new black for email?? more and more people all seem to use it. also all the IT nerds i know HAVE to have one!! i think i might go back

For me it's because I use anywhere between 2 and 8 computers in a given day so I can get my email wherever I am - it's been possible for a long time, but back in 2004 it was the easiest and most effective.

the other thing that gmail is great for - if you are a person with multiple email accounts, you can add all your email accounts to one gmail account and check it anywhere.
