IMO, Olympics should only have events where the winner is decided be being the fastest, throw the furthest, jump the highest etc... Nothing with judges etc

+2 except the addition of fighting sports which you have to have in the Olympics, which of course would be decided by last man standing.

The hunger games / Gladiator style?

Just get them all in a big arena at once and the last one standing gets the gold  :D

I agree, there are sports that don't need the limelight.

Perhaps they should promote amatuers and juniors more in the sports that already turn over billions...

Some sports they do and some they dont.. Boxing is still amateurs for one. I can understand some country wanting tennis as a demonstration sport but I cant see why they kept it. It already has massive events like soccer, theyre sports that just dont need to be in the Olympics. I came across the finals of the womens taekwondo, just an utter joke... it looked like a pair of Thunderbirds characters have a kick fight.

Clicky clicky.

Yes it is a joke, or so we hope.
