I agree with your comments. I think both parties are a disgrace and no matter who wins you will have an ineffectual left wing government. Having said that, labour in charge would be a greater disaster.

Agreed, but the coalition have in the last week not really done us any favours. Not on the Super front anyway.

The Labour policy on Super actually favours the "wealthy" far more than the Liberal policies announced in the budget. Perhaps they don't really understand the implications of their policies :p

Labour will still allow accumulation of large balances; but will tax the income that results from those "excess" balances. With the Liberals you have a cap of only $1.6 million which will provide SFA  in returns. Once you hit the $1.6 million there is little point contributing beyond the protection from creditors aspect.
