Does anybody think Joe Average in Australia is going to vote for a bloke that is worth at least $260 million? Not a chance in hell.

They had better or we are all in big trouble.

Please guys , let's hear no more of Abbott. He's completely unelectable.

IMO. Abbott

He, bishop and Morrison had the outward appearance of a powerful team.

Much better option than Turnbull; but the voters hated him.

I agree, Abbott was unelectable.

There is a very real danger that Joe Average will vote for Shorten just because they refuse to vote for Turnbull. Never underestimate how deeply the Australian "Tall Poppy Syndrome" runs in the average Australian.

He gave the voters plenty of reason to hate him too. Sir Prince Philip anyone?

Postal Vote form arrives with a letter from Malcolm Turnbull ?

I thought that was the electoral offices domain not for political advertising.

Ahhh it's only an application form to receive postal vote material.

Major clusterfuck that one; but he DID get things done within the limitations of a hostile Senate. "Stop the boats" is one that springs to mind.

From what i understand Prince Philip has been knighted in many countries, the media just chose to beat this one up though.  Interestingly Shorten stayed quiet on that one -  perhaps a conflict of interest considering his mother in law was made a dame.

Abbott's achievements far outweigh the  prince philip media beat up

That peerage came about for ability to get into a size 6 cocktail dress and her love of dining on lettuce leaves and sucking on Italian mineral water cubes.
