As for glider piloting... sounds kinda interesting, but I either want to do hang-gliding or fighter-jets... nothing much in between interests me.

flying is awesome fun.

gliding is an amazing experience.

i tried it without a plane once...it wasn't so successful.

I was tossing up the idea earlier in the year to go to Air Force Cadets but I don't know why I never did. :scratchchin:

You beat me to it.  I was going to say that the crosswind is the least of that 747's problems.
