Kids have done well, We were all living in the same room for that time.  Daughter finished year 12 last year and son in year 11.  No quibbles from either.  Both are a little scared to move back in.

Architect involved ? looks very professional

We stayed in the house while all bathrooms were renovated, new carpet and painting throughout, at one stage there was an inch of dust over everything when they removed the old tiles which had been layed on half an inch on concrete , dont know how we put up wth it in retrospect.

Looks great Simon, its amazing what the above people dodger referred as can do with some tools and material. I guess we are a talent-full bunch.

It's amazing how you have to get them back over and over to fix this "talent-full" work :D

+1

my brand new roof -  done twice - still leaking in the portico

and they are busting my balls for payment....WTF????

underground storm water pipes visible above ground -  blame the apprentices

Eaves linings with express joints -  joints range from 10mm to 16mm -  payment withheld
Ensuite window not square and noticeable.  Chippie says, but it's only 5mm out of square, but he fails to recognise that it is noticeable and oner a 1000 span it is off by 20mm - payment withheld

But by and large the majority of trades I deal with have good attention to details.
