I've never taken much notice of Alan Jones, shock jock and all that but he was on Q&A last night and was he impressive, he had al the numbers, all the facts and made everyone else on the panel including Tony Jones look weak and ineffective, no wonder he's so popular, you should watch this -

The whole things here, it's a real eye opener, re the ALP, coal seam mining etc...........

Agree. He had it happening. Nice to see someone take Tony on.
The comedienne is an idiot. Who gave Gina Reinhardt billions? When, how much, from whom. As usual no proof, just lefty crap, and never challenged.
Tragic the situation of farming land being lost to mining. We haven't got enough arable farm land now, and these bloody politicians are giving it away. Obeid and his wonky mates should be publicly hung drawn and quartered.
There, I feel much better....

I agree with all of that, I had no idea of the extent of the land grab, Jones has all the facts at his finger tips while everyone else just sat there looking like sheep, he should be on more often but I bet they wont let him, better still he should have his own TV show.

I find politics incredibly frustrating. There is no personal accountability for the Politicians actions which are often criminally negligent. The recent Vic elections saw labour elected with a policy of dumping the East West link toll road which is desperately needed. The average man in the street is dumber than a meat axe, believed that there would be no penalty from walking away from a legally binding contract and voted labour into power.
The DH labour leader Andrews says she'll be right mate, we will just offer them other contracts in place of the link. Hello DH, the link is a tunnelling project with specialist personal and their families relocated from OS to Melbourne ready to start. What tunnelling projects are you going to offer them you retard? Do you really think "There will be no penalties payable by the people of Melbourne" ?
Fast forward 6 months and the fuckwit hasn't been able to get a single law firm to agree that the contract is invalid and we will have to pay as much as $1 BILLION to NOT build a project that is desperately needed.

So what retribution does this retard suffer? Nothing, he will be rewarded with a high salary, super and lifetime perks  :boom: :boom:

If this was a publicly listed company there would be shareholder revolt and the prick would be lynched.

Just watch the same things happen up here if Labor scrapes in.

Australian voters have memories like gold fish.

Why such a long face?

Add the Dsal plant to that

Quote
On completion the plant was immediately placed into standby mode as the reservoirs in Melbourne were over 80% full. However a $1.8 million per day fee is payable to the construction consortium. This minimum fee is payable for a total of 27 years after completion. Even if no water is required the total payment is between $18 and $19 billion.[7]

Yup the problems are dumb voters and zero accountability for politicians. It will continue to happen until the system  changes.

Labor governments they ruin it for all.

I've been exploring the possibility of buying a large boat in the US,keeping it in a marina living on it every 2nd month for a month .Spend time up here while involved in the car racing ,rest of the year in FQ,even bring the dogs up,just drive up each time.

Victoria and NSW are out as no live on-boards , greater then 5 or 7 days.

So QLD is answer around say Southport CYC marina ,but I bet if labor get in they and there green mates will ban live on-boards.

Thank Christ I have not bought yet...be great a 65 foot like this and no where to keep it as a live on-board.

Plus i'd be close to Morrettiooo  Plus I could help plan the 2016 GG. :p
