Given we celebrate and talk about purchase thought we could also do some on DIY, renno's, landscaping ect

Saw this on the internet the other night

and thought

considering i haven't done any wood work since about year 8 / 1998 ( when i made the table its sitting on) was reasonably happy with how it worked out. Clearly it needs more a lot work, some better tools and my plans need refining but over all pretty happy on how the test one came out, for only 2 hours work from blank paper to photo's

now to refine the designs, processing and then.... Profit? LOL

Recently a school project.... design a self propelled vehicle that can carry a small object like a dice 1.5 meters. It mustnt produce any emissions.

I spent 5 hours designing and building a rubber band powered thing that NEARLY" worked. I went to the workshop with my boy especially and used my lathe, drill and guillotine to make an aluminium chassis with wooden wheels.

I gave up.

Wifey knocked up a balloon powered thing in 15 minutes that went double the required distance.

She could do it better than anyone, while holding a baby on one hip and cooking restaurant grade meals while beating the council into submission over the phone.

But anyway, she tries to keep out of business admin.

She's like my Nuke. If I press the red button, there'll be a holocaust.
