Hi Guys

I was planning on hiring a car trailer to do an interstate race weekend, sounds simple and fun but no.

What I have found out is that there is no insurance cover on the trailer if it is stolen.
And to top it off you are liable for the costs of a new replacement trailer.

this is taking the fun out of it

Can you take out insurance with an insurance company for a trailer registered in another entities name? Could your business insurer issue a policy to cover you?

Slight issue with me not owning ti but they can get around that.

but it only covers me for market value not replacement.
I think that is the only solution

but it is crazy that they dont have theft coverage

It can still go back to factory spec.

It is just the seats that are a bit hard for driving 950km of highway in a day.
More comfortable if towing it

Mate, you can come to Melbourne, pick up my trailer then go home and get your car and then return the trailer. :p

The Argo doesn't come with the trailer. :p

It has electric brakes, (the trailer that is).

All jokes aside, shame you are in Adelaide mate, otherwise you could have used it.

I'll chip in, given the humpties I've taken to buying a trailer will come in handy at some point   :) :)  :)
C'mon, do it!
