Ah, if it had been something different I'd have suggested you visit Greg at Farren Price in the Adelaide Arcade. Nice guy.

Feel free anyone who knows about watches.  I had an awesome Casio that you could set to your cadence when running and measure lots of stuff and do cool things - in 1984! :p

Now I have a watch with a Lambo logo on it that I got off eBay for $14 bucks - it's right twice a day :D

Try going to a smaller specialist watch store/jeweller. I can't stand dealing with massive chains for things they don't specialize in... It might cost abit more but you'll get much better service in a jeweller than a chain.

A little while back, I headed into a Saleras store, thinking that seeing they were a fairly known watch store, I would get some good service.

I only needed to get a watch band pin replaced, and figured an authorised dealer of the brand I wear would be happy to help me out.

Went in and basically this was the exchange.

Me - I've got a "xxx" watch and with the band I need...

Store bitch - It will cost you at least 15 dollars

Me - Uhhh, you don't even know what I want done

Store bithch - Do you need a link removed?

Me - No, the pin on one of the links needs to replaced because it got  bent

Store bitch - Oh we don't have those in stock

Me - Well I have a spare from when I purchased it

Store bitch - Oh well, uhhh, I'm not sure if we can....

At that point, I just muttered "well obviously it's too hard to help me so I'll leave"

Well, the next watch I will be buying won't be from them.
