About time some one noticed that; accounting structure for tax purposes not equal to real business structure = TAX AVOIDANCE.

About time our gutless politicians stopped moaning about budget issues and actually got some companies to stop avoiding tax.

I agree their ,so over the middle class caring countries with direct and indirect tax.

I see in the UK,talk of introducing a 50% tax on high income earners,I have no issue with this.

Yes I know, I dont understand why politicans cant have a "real discussion" with the people of Australia.

I would pay more tax as well, if they said along the lines of "look, deficit is getting higher so we need to increase taxes for 5 years, vote for it, and we will sunset clause the legislation to go back to historical levels once dept as % of GDP is xxxx"

"but, also we will get multinationals to pay actual tax rates of 30% by reducing tax loopholes, reduce benefits to big business like diesel rebate (7Billion) et etc"

At least so its seen that all are carrying the load, and once debt is back to acceptable levels the rates are reduced back to typical.

FFS it shouldnt be so hard.

If italy is signatory to UN and they ask for asylum then illegals is the wrong word.

Of course jump out of UN then you can call them what you want!!!

Libya is a war zone,  Asking for asylum and wanting to go somewhere else isnt actually against the convention as far as I can see.

The problem with that is that NOBODY believes a word that comes out of a politicians mouth and there is ZERO accountability for their incompetence. Any new tax would be seen by any half intelligent voter as being a new and permanent impost.

As I have said many times, Europe is now permanently fucked.
