In SA anything over 30kw is considered a generator and the legislation changes dramatically on that basis

interesting? how can they limit your production? surely that is variable each day?

in QLD they limit it to a 5kw inverter on your home.  on a great day i can make 40kw, on a bad day i do about 10,  but to impose a cap on production kind of makes it a little difficult to control.

but hey, run as much as you can that way, then get another PV setup to run your pool pump, and another PV setup for your hot water, would that work?
