Guys,

I want to buy something interstate off Gumtree and I don't trust the seller and the seller doesn't trust me, the only way for me to do it half safely would be to do it face to face.  We are only talking $500, is there any form of escow sites that could make the deal safer?

Tell him to put it on eBay then buy it using PayPal then there's a guarantee in place to cover defaults.

I don't think ebay allows mobile number sales.

You can pay someone with PayPal without eBay it's probably the easier option

Gotta make sure Paypal will cover this type of transaction. They don't have a full Escrow thingy...........

There are phone numbers listed for sale on eBay with a PayPal pay option
