You at least used to have to switch valves and insert punchcards and stuff, programming now requires deft usage of the left hand - CTRL-C and CTRL-V :p

those punchcards weren't all that heavy but carrying the oscilloscope around to do the disk alignments kept us fit

plus we had very heavy programs then :

10 print "bugger"
20 goto 10

 :tilt:
if you think you're faster than me you're wrong

Ok - my visitors have departed after 2 weeks of subjecting me to constant meals and socialising and I feel like a whale. :?  My simple plan is to now only have "meals" when it's a social occasion which should be limited for the next month or so as I need to get a lot of work done, all other sustenance should probably be via beer or whatever. :p

wasnt that difficult. i ended up rowing 30 mins in the morning and 30mins in the afternoon (most days). along with sensible portions of healthy food. i normally eat good food, just too much of it, so cutting back on portion sizes. eat fruit inbetween meals and not snacks...

only difficult thing is convincing yourself to get off your ass and go and exercise. i find exercise great, its just getting motivated to do it, and now ive got myself into a routine, its much easier.

now im back at work, im just rowing 30 mins in the morning. double bonus with that is it gets your metabolism going... burn more fat during the day.
