I assume they will install Kronos terminals, as they are the world leaders and have been forever.

Where I work we installed them over 10 years ago due to issues with drivers clocking each other on, fatigue management laws and audits.

Without the finger print solution, we would have needed to man the depot to witness driver sign ons 24x7 - we may know when they start the truck but your work time starts when you walk into the depot, then have a coffee, read your paperwork etc.
Basically, we failed an audit, 2 dodgy drivers ruined it for everyone.

Kronos go to great efforts to convince people their system does not store fingerprint info that can be used in any way by police or similar.

Heres a really basic document on it. It is not a hugely convincing read! If your employer is anything like mine, you will get a similar document when you 'enrol' in the system.
