8 bar is less than half, almost only a third of the pressure you're using.

And a split or pin hole with a 400psi jet of water in your eye is not a good day.

It's probably safer, and anyway, end cap is tacked on generally.

I know a guy that does, and has for over 30 years.

Yes I get the physics, shoeing horses is dangerous too, as is motorsport. Danger breeds skill.

Argon and compressed air cost money to use, water is free, some guys just put the part in the freezer that also works for small dings.
