On reading what Ash had to say and whats been published,I've stopped taking my various tablets.
ie
For underactive  thyroid gland
for cholestrol
and for upper stomach reflux.

I feel great and I'm saving money,its good to have medical people on board the forum.

careful with the reflux meds, heard of Barretts esophagus?

careful with the reflux meds, heard of Barretts esophagus?
its cool.but have heard of it.
i don't need the thyroid tablets...they try and scare you by talking about it being undeactive and one going into a como....as if.

Both parents in there 80s,mothers father had angina,died in his early 40s..but who would know with doctors.

The statins you take for cholesterol have an anti inflammatory effect, and inflammation is implicated in cardiovascular disease.

Best to consult your GP before stopping your meds.

That's the only effect that's found to be beneficial, funnily enough it's just a happy accident and nothing to do with cholesterol... :scratchchin:
