Anyone else - I mean truly?

I wouldn't mind the whole not-sleeping-at-night thing if I wasn't still half connected to the 9-5 world...

If there's a cure I've never heard of it (my old man has nocturnal bug too), and none of this "oh when I can't sleep I just *insert remedy*..."

Insomnia/nocturnalism isn't just "can't get to sleep tonight" thing, it's days/weeks at a time of no real sleep, people call 2 hours of solid sleep a nap, like an oyster is a meal.

I'm opposite... 10pm and I am a zombie.

But I hear a wife is a good solution to your problem :)

Insomnia is a bit different to nocturnal.  I'd say I'm semi-nocturnal because I never go to bed before midnight, but then I sleep very deeply for 6.5+ hours after that.

Used to be exactly like that - but old age cured it for me.    :p

Yep, and kids, that will do it as well.

You can't fall asleep or you sleep but are never refreshed?

I think you can over stimulate your brain.

I'm learnig with kids... I have 3 kids.... a 2, almost 4 and 6 and a bit year old.. you can train them to WANT sleep...

Depriving them of sleep does not mean they get tired... they simply learn to get by with less.

My 6 year old still has a daytime sleep almost every day AND they all go to bed at around 7.30 and sleep till 6.30 (normally).

My middle girl almost 4 would sleep all day if we didn't get her up.

I make sure I get off the computer in time to read a book for an hour or so before trying to sleep..... usually. reading rests my brain better... and read in as dim a light as is practical.
