Tru dat.

The usual debate of which state has better driver's came up again the other day - with the usual blah blah blah, but the only real discernable difference I notice about SA is that people here just cannot use the left lane, annoys the fuck out of me.  The best state I've seen for keeping left is NSW.

i couldnt care less about which state had better drivers.... i do know who have terrible ones... SA!!!!
when i was traveling through europe, i noticed everyone kept right (drive one the other side of the road) traffic moved so much smoother.
hell even on escalators they all stood to the right to let people pass. if you didnt you got bowled over.

If my memory serves, keep left only applies to >=80kmh zones.

On average, I 'd say the typical Aussie is a dreadful driver.

They have NFI how to merge. (root cause of problem)

They have NFI how to use roundabouts (involves merging)

They don't allow others to merge.

They drive up behind parked cars, come to a stop and then sit there like idiots getting frustrated I and others won't let them out to pass the parked car (involves merging again).

They tailgate.

They don't use dip/main beam correctly.

They don't use park/side lights correctly.

They don't use fog lights correctly.

Drive like that in the UK and you'll be abused to hell and back. It's survival of the fittest over there.

Luckily, the traffic density of most of Australia makes the atrocious driving tolerable.
