Had a small win in a mediation hearing so I treated myself to a test drive of a 991 Carrera 4S. Man what a car. Now waiting for a call back from the salesman when he gets back from holidays to discuss options. :).

They are something else.

JAG - yes - dealing with them this week on a project. Good.
Walls - yes - did 80k of joinery in a house I helped design for a mate. Good. And I was a bastard on the fine detail but they delivered.

they ony had the c4s available for a test drive

As for the options, they couldn't find the option list and Dale was away on holidays

MHH's friend probably still has the option list with him

but the c4s ( that I drove) is more expensive than the incoming GT3 which should land in october.  The thing is, they dont know how many they are getting and many have already put a deposit down for the unknown allocation

The Carrera S cars the dealers order for stock are usually much better equipped than the average GT3, hence the higher price.  Sunroof, Bose, full leather, electric seats, etc.  For a daily car, the Carreras looks the better buy compared to the GT3.  Evo thought the 4S was a better drive than the 2S IIRC.  All great cars - you can't go wrong.
