Just checked and loaded a Nevco right now.....

Absolute max is 2.01 m. To tilt mechanism not wheel arch. So to make wider is big engineering job, and then you'd need to run 175 wide tyres max due to tall side wall flex and clearance.

Great trailers, really excellent. But the width limitation for exotics is probably too much to engineer, legally, for.

Just get a good little truck. The engineered Nevco will end up at $30k with accessories and mods. And it's still open, insecure, not weatherproof, requires tow car, hard to park and limited extra space.

Just get a good little truck! I just got a tow car now I need a truck FFS.....

Couldnt disagree more strongly.

With a truck, you get priority parking and automatic extra space. A changing room, a meeting point, a workshop.

And it can stay partially loaded, and serve many more purposes than a race trailer.

Since I sold my truck 4 months ago, I've already rented it back 3 times and used a tilt tray 6 or 7 times. Typical!

sounds all great until you want to drive to the hotel or the pub.
Plus driving the thing to a meeting and storing, give me a 20 foot box trailer any day of the week, and that 20 plus years of going to meetings.

Storage for ruck / trailer is comparable. In fact it's easier to move a truck than a trailer, especially if the race car is stored inside it.

Yes, hotel stuff is trickier, but it's very rare not to have a tender car or crew car too.
