that's just it, there's lots of *good* spots, and the whole adelaide hills is great in general, but there's nowhere that is really spectacular.

But there's some great coastal and/or mountain stuff around here too.

But then Sydney Harbour has also got some great stuff to work with (with or without the bridge/opera house cliches).

that second pic with the G and the bridge... good to get them in identical profile, would look cool.

i wanted to do that with the Murci and Ayers Rock but it didn't quite go as planned - not enough time to set up, and not enough room/too much traffic at that time of day.

Same prob for us:  time.

We waited patiently for everyone else to leave...  one by one other private cars left til we finally had that area to ourselves...  and then a garbage truck came in and ended our run.

There's heaps more I could have done with Luna Park, ferries, etc in the background.
