I was expecting it to be American, quite surprised when it wasnt.

Looks like it works great but unfortunately like ultralights and gyro copters plenty of users would end up dead.

Agreed. Pretty sure I'd rather the glide ratio of plane to my own body too :D

Who thought this up Philip Nitschke ?

Aside from colliding with aircraft, landing in power lines and needing a truck and local football team to get in on your back it's a great idea.

Can it carry two people? It will probably end up as a search and rescue craft if it ends up reliable and youre able to strap someone on board. I wonder how heavy it is, if its made out of alloy it might only be a one person operation.

The video on the news didnt make the emergency landing test with a parachute look as successful as their comments made it sound. I wouldnt want to be strapped in the way it landed with the chute. Looked semi ok on this video but a lot worse on the TV news.

Nice  size / weight / cost - doesn't matter. It'll only get smaller / lighter / cheaper. First computer was a bit of a behemoth now we have more processing power in our phones
