Cows eat grass; - grass is green; if I eat beef, I am technically eating processed and concentrated greens!!  :thumbsup:

Artificial meat the answer to feeding the world in year 2050

    * Artificial meat a solution to food crisis
    * Could feed entire world
    * Population to reach 9 billion by 2050

GROWING artificial meat in vats could be the solution to the looming problem of how to feed the world's booming population, according to a group of leading international scientists.

The concept was announced by the Royal Society - a UK-based fellowship of scientists - in 21 academic papers exploring the future of global food supplies.

Gaga meat bikini draws animal rights ire

    * Lady Gaga on magazine cover
    * Wearing a "meat bikini"
    * Fashion faux par - PETA

LADY Gaga's latest stunt - appearing on the cover of the September issue of Men's Vogue Japan clad in a bikini made of raw meat - was a fashion faux pas that should not be repeated, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said today.

The cover was shot by fashion photographer Terry Richardson. In addition to the revealing meat outfit, Lady Gaga wears a small slab of beef on her head like a beret.

PETA President Ingrid Newkirk said, “Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body".

PETA recently blasted former American Idol contestant Kristy Lee Cook for her hunting TV series Goin' Country and demanded that Paul the Psychic Octopus, who correctly predicted the outcome of eight World Cup games this year, be released from captivity.

Inside the magazine, the singer appears in photos and in an interview as her male alter-ego, an Italian mechanic named Jo Calderone.

She appeared nude on the cover of the September issue of Vanity Fair.
