Good point, even if it is not entirely correct as there is one instance where they CAN get at it.
When you are in the retirement phase and drawing a pension income stream from the SMSF, your creditors can get to that. This is why you need to make sure your trust deed allows the trustee (normally you) to stop or minimise the amount paid out.
