I just realised that yesterday I notched up 12 months without alcohol.  Just FYI - no response or applause needed.

And no, I don't feel any better.  Just soberer.

I don't mind a good red but unfortunately am cursed with inability to metabolize alcohol hence end up flushed with pounding headaches and everything pulsating in my field of vision, not to mention feeling quite sick after no more than 1/2 a glass!! Cheap drunk!

Well done Mark.

One of my resolutions this year was to cut back on drinking, mainly to stop wasting away my weekends. I have cut back ALOT compared to last year, and my longest streak was 6 weeks in February. For a 21 year old surrounded by party animal mates, I think it was a good achievement.  :D

Might give it another go soon...  :scratchchin:

I'll give up one day, each evening I think I'd like a drink, each morning I'm glad I didn't.

I give in a couple of times per week, congrats for giving up Mark, you'll live better without it.

I always thought if Barry Humphries could do it so could I..........but not just yet.
