i LOVE instrument flying, but i'm VFR. it's part of the training, though.

So the training covers IFR, but not full PIFR???

The CSU and RET covered in basic training?? or were they seperate endorsements??

i don't remember doing night.

i don't know why they teach it if you're not allowed to use it...but they do.

I have had the chance to do some of the training on the Flight Sims, but very little in the air.

Back in the good old days when we used to do the Inter-state Fiber Optic routes, we used to flight around in lots of wonderful things.
Did some flying then, but that was in the Out Back where it did not matter if you were flying without a License.

Did I mention that I work for a certain communications company that shall remain nameless???
