Have managed to reverse out of my garage and done serious damage three times. Took a slice out of a rear panel firstly. Cracked a side mirror secondly. And finally tore the drivers side mirror right out of the door. Expensive lesson. Moral of the story, don't talk on the mobile phone when reversing out of ones garage. Oh and I better learn how to drive better

We have a huge problem with reversing incidences at work, so there has been a large education program in place to try to reduce the problem.

We even had a trial of reversing cameras and guess what.............



......it failed, badly!!!!

Had a lady once drive straight into the back of me whist I was turning a corner.  She was sending a text at the time.  She even told the cops she didnt see me coz she was sendinga  txt.  She also blew .156.  Got her a $15k repair bill to my car, hers wrtitten off, a $700 fine and 12 months disqualification.

maybe tell them not to talk on their phones while reversing

or look at who you're allowing to driving the cars.

Even using a hands free kit, you shouldn't be even on the phone when reversing, ever!!!!!

If they are caught doing that, it's a kick up the arse or the sack!!!

or look at who you're allowing to driving the cars.

This is really not as easy as it sounds........anyway, the guys who were trialing the cameras had prefect driving records until the cameras went in........

I was told years ago that thats actually law that you must reverse in ,

Who told you that? Doesn't sound right...
