Italy have never really been threatened by germany.
Hopefully it will turn out like the 2006 WC Semi's :D But the teams are very different now, without Chiellini it's going to be difficult to defend against their attack, but if we play like we did against Spain and play with some purpose then it's going to be a cracker.

toughest in the sense that the 2010 finalists (Spain, currently ranked first, and Holland, currently ranked 9th), are both in Australia's group along with Chile (currently ranked 15th).

Using the formula for the draw, it would be hard to come up with a tougher challenge than those 3 games.

Also, in the event that Australia finishes second in its group and makes it to the knockout stage the likely opponent would be Brasil.

We can only hope for some complacency from the big teams, to field weaker sides to save their best players for later.

The yellow card system can cripple a team later in the tournament.

It's far from impossible that Aussie gets through this group. But it's bloody tough!

Makes me so glad that I care about soccer as much as the two rugby's. I like it if we win and I dont mind watching if we play ok but actual care factor is zero.
