Well, not really.... Southern Right actually....

Whales....

Just got back from superb trip to warrnambool to see the whales, and take kids to festival etc etc...

bloody terrific trip down GOR..... was windy and showery all the way.... kids (and mum) blown away by about 20 rainbows along the way.

Stayed at lady bay resort apartments.... superb....

Ran out of time to do all the great stuff there....

Whales were right up close to beach, but unfortunately NOT doing the back flips etc... just rolling around "flippering".

Will def be going back again some time.

Mega quick trip back home along Hamilton highway... awesome road... didn't see a cop or any speed restricyions of any real kind...

Got from wnbl to Queenscliffe in 2hr 30 mins.

Passed two Lotii in the Voyager along the GOR.... out braked the bastards!!

What is it with Lotii drivers :tilt:













disclaimer..... I had benefit of extra ground clearance  and better vision from being higher up  :thumbsup:

Reminded me of my most excellent birthday in 1999.... "racing" a 250LM and Michelotto 308 around france... me driivng a people bus full of tools and they couldn't shake me!... must scan and post pics of that some time....

Reminded me of my most excellent birthday in 1999.... "racing" a 250LM and Michelotto 308 around france... me driivng a people bus full of tools and they couldn't shake me!... must scan and post pics of that some time....

Yeah don't know what it is about them, but I could watch them for hours.  Fascinating.

This is from about 2yrs ago when I took a 360 down the south coast to near Montague Island for a bit of a tour and whale watch.

I went on a whale watching tour in NZ 2 years back but nothing showed up.  :(
