I'm sick and fucking tired of my Baracuda (creepy crawly) NOT getting to all the corners..

how do you fix that shit...? GRRR  :gnasher:

pool is 10.5 x 5.5m, 80,000 litre... almost rectangular with just steps one end and a bench the other , off to one side. Not a complex shape at all.

plug the hose in the skimmer box at the shallow end.  the cuda will always work down to the deep end.

If the hose is plugged into the skimmer box  at the deep end...it will stay at the deep end.

that's how i fixed it.

Pool guy.

you're kidding right!

It'll $100 to tell me what I've worked out myself, and $1000 in new equip before he agrees with me.

Well, for me the whole idea of a pool is the luxury.  If you end up mucking around with maintenance, where's the fun?  If I'm wrong there wouldn't be any pool guys.

I'm not the "wallowing in luxury" type..

I need a connection to appreciate it properly...

Plus, I really can't afford to pay for ALL the upkeep, so I HAVE to do the majority of it myself.

Was thinking about getting heating installed... but with the cover I got for it, it hasn't dropped below 30 deg since late Nov.

I had the same problem and removed the deflector wheel to try to fix the problem.

Refer pg 8 in the attached (http://www.zodiac.com.au/media/29813/zodiac%20pacer.pdf) for a description of what the deflector wheel is.  For what it's worth I had to look up what it was called just then.

The upside is that the creepy will go into corners, the downside is that it will now randomly get stuck in same corners.
