Kebabs,

I went to the Aquarium very recently. The shark tank is pretty good (the tank is above you, and you walk underneath the glass bottom), but everything else is pretty average. Taronga Zoo is a much better all around experience - the exhibits are better, there is more to see, the location is good, and the Ferry trip (if you get there by boat) is also nice as well. The only draw back is that the on site food is crap and very overpriced.

Another alternative is the Australian Museum on College St. They have a couple of dinosaur skeletons in there which are pretty cool.

Otherwise, CTS is the go if you want to check out cars.

check what time the aquarium shuts these days, I went at 9pm once and had it to myself, it was a bit weird being the only person in the whole shark tank area
they play atmospheric music
one of the bigger tanks broke once, a woman sued them for the mental distress it caused her
ponder that whilst looking at the sharks

I plan to go to the osaka aquarium in a couple of weeks time, I hear its massive

Did they ever get their cafe up and running?

As for what to do in Sydney this Sunday, theres a big surfing thing going on at Manly, Sunday will be the last day. I think they have lots of other events happening on and around the beach too, even if you arent into surfing there might plenty of scenery to photograph. As im sure you are aware, you can take the ferry to get there.

it is. multi-level. my favourite part was the spider crabs. recommend it.

i think the okinawa one has the largest bit of that sort of aquarium glass in the world... not sure if it's the largest aquarium though.
