Shared by a friend who is a stuntman who loves being set on fire.....Some awesome stunt crashes (read, sad destruction of some classic cars) from this 1959 Fred Astaire movie showing the Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island. (Filmed in California)  :D

Mad Max- Fury Road.

WOW, absolutely EPIC

Saw an interview with George Miller.

The most impressive part of the film I think is the fact that they didn't do any green screen stunts and all of the car chases/stunts are real, no CGI. That's getting back to grass roots film making and I think that may have a little to do with why the film has been really popular so far......

Last Top Gear has aired.

They have a segment on classic cars (mentioned prices going nuts) and one on cheap 4wds.
The segments were ok and worth watching.

The studio stuff was horrid. No stars, no hot laps, no news, no audience.

Very sad way for them to finish the show. May and Hamond just read out their lines and said goodbye then silently ran the credits.
