Caught an Uber yesterday.

Instead of the usual Toyota along comes a very recent RR Disco - driven by a guy in a shirt and tie

I asked if I'd ordered Uber Black by mistake and he said no, we got talking and turns out 18 months ago his wife announced she'd been having an affair for the last 5 months, all the assets were in her name for business reasons.
He's been to court 5 times.
He has 5 kids
Now he's reduced to driving Uber for peanuts.

So whatever your circumstances think of this guy and be thankful it isn't you.

It was a short trip and it came about because my mate and I seemed bemused why a guy with a near new disco was driving for Uber.
He seemed very genuine, just like any exec you'd see in a meeting.

Already thought of that but I cant see a reason, the fare was $6 from my place to the pub.
Unless he's hunting rich widows  :?
