The latest allocation from the Whisky Club that I am a member of is absolutely fantastic. I think you might have to join the club to get hold of it; but I can highly recommend it. Not that expensive either at something like $130 a bottle.

If you're a fan of peat laden whisky, this one isn't for you.

I'm currently in Tassie, staying in Launceston.

Went to a pub tonight for a feed, attached to the pub is a bottle shop which I thought I'd have a look at, they have some interesting stuff in there. Apparently I missed out on a bottle of French Oak by a matter of hours!!! Damn it all!!!!

Kauizawa is a defunt Japanese distillery and the Geisha bottles were collector releases. I guess having a complete set would be akin to having a full set of Grange Heritage 20 odd years after Penfolds ceased operating.
