I dont take any medication ever, no panadol, nothing prescription, no booze etc.
But after reading various pilot and frequent flyer forums, people talked about xanax and long plane trips.

I got hold of some for a few trips to London, it was amazing.
Literally like time travel.

Eat what you want of the meal, swallow a xanax, turn on a movie, 10 minutes in I cant remember anything until the wheels hit the ground in Singapore. But then I was wide awake for the 2 hours you stop there, its not actually a sleeping pill, no grogginess.

Repeat that process leaving singapore, wheels hit the ground at heathrow.

Update: I should add this was sitting up in economy, on full planes.

I mentally tried to calculate how much time had elapsed, and I thought it felt like maybe 3 hours total flying time instead of 17. My previous pre xanax trips were 17 hours AWAKE.

I either take a nurofen with either a valium or a mogadon  -  depends on how I feel

otherwise sleep just doesnt occur
