After spending some time flying domestically in the USA, I will never complain about the standard in Australia again. Every single domestic American Airlines flight I took was delayed. Not to mention the terrible airports, extremely slow check-in, security procedures...
We are spoilt for choice when flying to Europe from Australia. Singapore Airlines, Malaysia, Emirates, and Etihad have all been very good.
Worst airline? Alitalia, and I have flown some pretty obscure ones. I feared for my life.
Worst Airlines:-
Toss up between Alitalia..Old Aircraft flown by would be Ferrari F1 drivers flying by the seat of the pants.
and
American Airlines..Bad Service, bad aircraft, and organised chaos.
They couldn't organise a chook raffle in a whore house.
Myself, My wife and 3 small children forced to sit in 5 different areas of the aircraft...WTF!
Aircraft had fuel fumes entering the cabin during the flight from LA to NY....scary shit.
