Was just talking about that Press place this morning with a friend who went last night, she loved it, said it had a New York vibe - whatever that means.

Or I can be your waiter for the evening, Chateau de Simmonds has a lovely range of wines, the finest cuts of meat, and the best views in town. :p

If you are prepared to drive...Fino at Willunga is absolutely awesome. Just let them feed you.

Otherwise, in the city I can also recommend Press...but its not very romantic...loud and buzzy sort of vibe.

Stamps in Mitcham has a nice homely vibe and great food.

Also, the Robin Hood in Kensington - all class in the food department.

Good luck
