Forum member nking was killed on Thursday when his motorcycle and a car collided in the Adelaide Hills. He was 54 years old.

I first heard of Neville through the Lamborghini community in 05 when I was talking about a trip to Alice Springs. He had the only Murcielago in the NT with number plates [330 KPH]. He helped us with our trip planning, stored our cars at his home, hosted various BBQs and drinks with his wife Cheryl, showed us the neighbourhood and accompanied us on our runs. He had a dry style in his online posts but in person was a warm and enthusiastic bloke who loved cars and people. I last saw Neville in 2009 when I dropped his son Daniel at the church on his wedding day in my LP640. Nev had sold his car but wanted to keep a promise to Dan that he would travel to his wedding by Lambo.

Neville was the only person I know to have driven a Veyron - at a racetrack in Spain. We enjoyed his video of the event (and many others) while lapping up his hospitality at his home in Alice.

Here's the thread with Neville's first post on Fchat about driving in the NT.

I hate motorbikes.
You make something idiotproof, they'll make a better idiot.

Hell of a shock to log on and read this :(

Never met Neville, but Rog, Cam and the EITO boys spoke highly of him. Condolences to his wife, children and family.....

Devastating news. My condolences go out to his wife and family.  :(

Nev was a top bloke, very easy to talk to and very friendly.

He helped us a lot in 05.

Very sad news.

The EITOB boys need to organise something for his funeral.

Mark can you assist with this?

Yes, I'm trying to find details.  Nothing I can see in the paper yet.
