Was at Paragon Shopping centre at this shop Yaffira ... they had some insanely expensive jewellery and a number of brands of watches I had not heard of. BTW: Had this brand BRM which where super-cool and very car/bike focused but also stupid prices.

Or…how bout $5m for a stainless steel Patek!

I caught up with Aurel when in Geneva recently to look at the day dates.  Most of the watches in that collection were dealers watches.  One of them was one I bid on in Hong Kong!  Will be interesting to see how they go over time against Sotherbys and Christies.  Aurel is a great Auctioneer, bit like Max at RMfor you car people here.  Really works the crowd and is fun to watch.

In the flesh I really liked this one.  (Sorry a bit blurry)

interesting patina on that dial or is that just the photo/glare not representing it properly?

It's my photo sorry JBO.  There was a second one with the same dial but with the president bracelet which was really nice.  The prices at that auction were crazy.  Bit like cars at the moment I guess, the world is going/gone stupid.
