Why not buy a hail storm cosmetic panel damaged van plenty kicking around.

I would buy any damaged late model Ferrari if the price is right. 🤑🤑🤑🤑

Funny this has come up actually, a friend rang me this week, he picked up a little Suzuki Swift at the auctions for $2000 a few weeks ago. It had a front end fender bender, so a guard, bonnet, upper/lower grille, bumper and Headlight were needed to fix it.

Found out why it got written off. The parts alone were close to $6k, the car was $15,999 new..........

So once parts purchased and repairs done by an authorised workshop, VASS check done, etc, etc................would have been cheaper and easier to buy one from a dealer..............

If you know the vehicle and do your homework damaged repairable make good projects if they are long term keepers.
Buying them to fix and sell is hard work unless you are a specialist and your makeovers are in demand.

But that would also be a write off in some cases wouldn't it?

Maybe I should find a written off r32 golf and transplant that into a caddy?  That could actually be cool enough to use as a DD.
