Yes, that makes sense.  I watch youtubes of my favourite cars on my TV and there is some much amateur content with guys who want to be the next Jeremy Clarkson.  The car video report seems to be a crowded market.

For me this is a passion. It's an outlet for my creativity that I love. I'm not overly interested in doing it for a career.
I don't like doing creative work for other people.

I strive for the best I can do. I'm not happy with slapping something together for a time constraint.

In the end, the short film I've mentioned to you before is more for me than anyone. To prove to myself what I can do.

Fair enough but Beethoven didn't string together a few tunes to give himself something to sing in the shower.  Art should be shared.

it will be shared... i do enjoy people enjoying my art. but I'm not fussed if they don't like it either.

I played in a band till I was 25 then went on to create a successful national real estate web site. Creativity is my world, nothing is as satisfying.

Just did some testing of the rig and cameras up to 110kph (110 zone)

As smooth as I could have hoped.
No issues with speed.
No issues with tight corners darting left and right.

Only issue I can foresee is having the camera out to far either side and clipping bushes/cliff or on coming traffic.
I think with the cars I plan on using this shouldn't be an issue compared with my box shaped car.

Overall a success.

Now, to start planing and story board.

More vids to come

Have you tried to place an external mic to get some of the exhaust note?

Yes, but not with this. Purely testing video.

I've done several audio tests proving very informative. I have 2 new microphones on order coming soon.
They will require more testing, but I'm enjoying learning.
