More importantly, what does your customer think?

Anyone can see that the light, shadow, focus, and depth of field is rubbish... but that's not important if the customer is happy with them.   :D

Hahahaa. Erm. Don't sugar coat it for us doc. Give it to us straight.

Is there actually anything left after light, shadow focus and depth of field? Can it smell good in a picture?   :D
C'mon, do it!

Sorry I'll try to be more direct next time.   :mischief:

Have you learnt nothing from me over the years?  Damn.   :irked:

Didn't realise I'd have to point out that the colour and saturation is really good.

Now, I cannot do any better, nor do I know how to do any better. and I don't no sh*t about photography.

But coming from a customer stand point I would say that photo is absolute crap. I have some examples of similar products from other website for comparison. I have no idea how they are done, but they do look good and if I was the owner of the website I would want them to like these. Doesn't the product supplier have pro photo's you can use?

Good luck with it.

Edit. Maybe the bottom one isn't so good, appears to have a reflection on the side, bit distracting.

He's top gun at giving critical feedback  :scared: i posted knowing that.

The images are straight off the camera, im not a photographer but this came up and needed to be done right away  I thought the one of the case where its close and laying flat came out pretty good  The cam was a Nikkon D70 and for lighting i used a table lamp  no tripods or anything.. .. .. not the most organised way to do it but eh

It's not reflection  :p I had no where to take the photo so i sticky taped some REFLEX paper together to make a box type thing and the paper is a bit creased.

But coming from a customer stand point I would say that photo is absolute crap.

By customer I was meaning the person paying for the photography (as opposed to the end consumer).

Sometimes the customer is paying crap, so gets crap - even if the end consumer is going to also think the product is crap.

Often the owner of the online shop just cannot be educated, or simply will never see the value in good product photography.

So if the customer is happy, ignore my feedback.   :)
