Hi guys,

As some of you know i haven't been taking many automotive photos this year, been focusing more on other style such as fashion and lifestyle.

At the moment i am trying to put together a portfolio to show to people, currently people see my photos through facebook, Model Mayhem, and on my iPad.

I will eventually put together a website over the summer but for now i just want to create something that people can go to and see the best of my work, aka my portfolio. I came across this website carbonmade.com that allows me to do what i want for free, only allowing me to put up 35 images for free though, but i really like the layout. What do you guys think? Any ideas of stuff you have seen that work??......

For cheap, go to www.wix.com

Easy to build your own site, great self managed gallery features.

Uber can build you something awesome, but we'll take a cut on every image you sell online   :D
C'mon, do it!

"A percentage of something is better than 100% of nothing."

I think someone offering me a 3-way with their hooker said that.

Any one else got some ideas?

A Wordpress site with a good theme will achieve most of what you want nowadays if you want to self-host, otherwise mobs like www.smugmug.com and www.zenfolio.com have a great range of premium hosted setups.

You need your own domain name and a host and s site like that can be done for under $1,000 or probably almost nothing if you search around online, I'd pay the money.
