Hey guys, the first challenge is now over for submissions. I have taken the LAST photo posted by each member as the photo for the comp. I believe the best way to vote is to have a 3,2,1 point system. It is also recommended to click on each photo as most link to a Higher res photo!

Original thread is here: http://aussieexotics.com/forum/photography/photography-challenge-1-panning-t2670.0.html

To vote simply post,

3.(First)
2.(Second)
1.(Third)

At the end a member will add all the votes up and a winner will be announced.

Rules for voting.

- You can only vote once
- No voting for your own photo
- Enjoy!

It's always about the best photo - but please take into account the technical side of the challenge at hand, which in this case is panning.

Quote
Panning is a photographic technique to suppress perspective shift of an object displacement, in photography, the panning technique is used to suggest fast motion, and bring out foreground from background. In photographic pictures it is usually noted by a foreground subject in action appearing still (i.e. a runner frozen in mid-stride) while the background is streaked and/or skewed in the apparently opposite direction of the subject's travel.

real tough... just about every photo has potential to win this comp... i know it was meantioned it was more the skill than the subject, but a photo can be technically perfect, yet boring.
so with that in mind......
