Thanks everyone!

I don't suppose anyone knows of a location in Sydney who may have an engine on display that I could shoot? I'm not sure how well an engine will actually look in the car itself, unless it's something like a Ferarri with a clear engine cover and I shoot from high up..

Hmm.. It's a challenge!

I would start with Lambo and Ferrari showrooms, you might just jag someone nice enough to let you do it there

Hi guys,

Thankyou all for your help with my request last week. I ended up going down to the Lamboghini showroom and tried 2 shots quickly there. It was pretty tight and cramped so hard to do anything too great but the shots still turned out ok just by dropping the ambient light. I attached them in this thread but if it doesn't work you can see them on my flickr site (www.flickr.com/photos/jaydaley).

It was my first ever time with automotive photography and good fun so im keen to try it again. If anyone else knows of any other opportunities to shoot something exotic and would like me to tag along please let me know.

Thanks again guys - Jay

Great shots. Did you bring your own lighting or did the dealership allow you to change their overhead lighting?  I assume you took these shots out the back rather than in the main showroom.
