Hi guys,

I'm flying to Sydney in two weeks for two photoshoots (cars) but I have no idea what locations to use.

Any of the locals got some ideas they could share with me?

Not really keen on using typical landmarks like the bridge or Opera House. So perhaps a selection of coastal/river spots and some industrial type areas. Preferably not a highly populated area and not somewhere that will have lots of distractions in the background.

They are high-end cars so something suitable for them obviously.

Thanks

Unfortunately I don't have any spare locations.  I haven't been out much lately, so my list of possibles is looking very short, and I'll need those soon.

But maybe I'll be out more in the near future and will keep a look out for us both.

Either way we should probably figure lunch + cars or something.

There is a nice quiet spot on the road between Cottage Point Road and Akuna Bay (google map search Cottage Point) there is a good bend in the road that has a large grass area to park on with the river and heavily treed steep hill in the background, I think it is called Illawong Bay.

Good lunch spot at the Cottage Point Cafe.

Thanks mate.

This will be a whirlwind trip (arrive Sat morn, fly out Sun night) with a journo so not likely to have any free time unfortunately.

Not keen on taking photos with the car on grass (don't like the look), but that area sounds nice in general so I'll check it out on Google Maps. Thanks.

Dave should be able to recommend some loading docks.  :p

They might not be as common in Sydney as they are in Adelaide! But if I don't come up with anything else they might have to do.  :p
